dance class, new roomie

so today was great, nothing like a day off.  Sometimes when i have a day off i really feel like i find highwaisted myself again.... for some reason i was up at 8:30 this morning, and out of the house by 9:15. hahaha, but its only just past midnight and my room mate and i are already in bed. So i went to the book store and it was freshman welcome day, ugh, these two girls walked by me and one said to the other "do i need to bring all my books to class on the first day of school?" i wanted to grab her and be like NO YOU DONT! YOU DONT NEED ANYTHING ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, THEY ARE GONNA THROW A SYLLABUS AT YOU AND TELL YOU TO GET OUT! jesus, anyways, and i went shopping, got some groceries, bought "eat, pray, love" at the book store, think ill start it in the morning, let you know how that goes.  I bought is fab skirt at the vans store, its a basic jean skirt, and its so cute.  I haven't gotten a new jean skirt in like 4 years, so it was definitely time.  Its going to be a new staple.  Oh, and i wore a fab outfit today, but couldn't upload the picture because my computer is a mess.... but thats the other piece of good news! my computer is no longer a mess because i got an external hard drive today at the book store, and got rid of a ton of files, and now its working much better.  

so once i got the computer rolling again i started editing some of the footage i got this summer while out and about adventuring, and im getting better at it, so there should be some great summer documentaries debuting on my face book in no time! yay  i think that will be my day tomorrow, reading my new book, editing movies, and working on my master piece : )

So THEN i went over to danielles house, and i haven't hung out with her in so long, i was thrilled to see her.  we chatted, and she watched some of my spring awakening footage, cause she would appreciate it like not many others would, lol, and then we headed for dance class,completely unaware of what we were about to get ourselves into! 

So we get into this class, and the warm up is a challenge, so i know right then were in for it, lol.  Basically the moves were super fast and based around having some serious dance foundations, which i have a bit of, but its VERY rusty.  soooo, we were a mess all through dance class! hahaha, and the teacher kept saying, "you girls are cool, keep trying!" hahaha, so sweet, but it was awful. BUT i really feel this new commitment in me to dance, i honestly think i could dance 4 times a week and still want more.  So i think D and i are going to try to take a different more basic begginer class and hopefully work out way up to being ready for that class.    It was so nice to be dancing with her again.  Shes who i learned to dance with, 3 years of cheer leading she was always by my side, or 13 bbk shows, dancing feels right when i look over and shes there next to me.  love her

oh, and at the end, our teacher starts talking about how he was in the  first national tour of wicked, lol, no wonder he kicked our butts! which is funny because danielle and i saw the wicked first national tour.

then when i got home tonight my new roomie Caroline was here! she is so freakin cute!  i am so excited to have a new friend to get to know.

ok, more tomorrow, my eyelids are starting to close on their own

so, ive decided that i need to post something everyday, because i need to write my thoughts down somewhere, and maybe someone out there, someday will read this

so here goes:

August: Osage County is the show im working for right now, and its incredible! its 3 1/2 hours long, so its exausting as well, but it has restored my interest in the not musical.  The acting in this show blows my mind, and to think that this women are doing this 8 times a week, estelle parsons, who is quite famous, is the mother in the show, and her daughter, which i cant remember the actresses name, are both amazing.  The daughter reminds me of my mother, not like the character of the daughter, but the actress who plays her, she sorta looks like my mother, and i could see my mom playing a role like that.  I would love to see my mother on a stage again one day, more than anything.  The last time she was on a stage i was to young to remember.  My moms mad at me right now anyways... she wouldnt even talk to me today when she called to say my book money is in which leads me to say....

why do comfortable shoes have to be so ugly? now that i have some money i need to get some work clothes really bad, and first and formost comfy shoes to stand there for three and half hours while estelle parsons fierces it up on stage.  but who wants to spend 100 bucks on ugly shoes? whats a girl to do?

I baby sat all day today, and the baby is so sweet! i cant get over how cute this kid is, and i put him in tie dye today! hahaha, darling.  im back there in the morning but i should probly get to sleep

soooo, im getting frustrated because it has been DAYS since jane updated seaofshoes and i neeed it! hahaha, so i thought maybe i should update this, lol.  Im sitting at the counter in my new room, eating some annies easy mac, and listening to teddy geiger as soon as my room is done i will have to post pictures.  

what is should be doing is studying spainish, lol.  i think this blog will be hearing alot of that once school starts.  Haha, this thing was my perfect excuse to put off my homework, lol.  

Oh! and im working on turning my favorite book "the realm of possibility" into a play. annnnd im working on planning a trip to costa rica with my best friend wes.  Although i know that is going to be an amazing reason to not to my homework starting next week as well, hahaha, but i got this travel book on it, and im like highlighting things and stuff, hehehe, cant wait! zip lines, white water rafting, and HOPEFULLY parasaleing! for some reason that is like my new life goal.
